Group Pitching Instruction
Group lessons are a great opportunity for brand new pitchers to learn the basics. Whether beginner or advanced, Julie works with each group of pitchers on a set of Snap Drills, an eight step pitching technique that ensures the pitchers use correct mechanics. With multiple group sessions, pitchers learn to increase speed and accuracy. Group lessons consist of 3-6 players and are 1 hour in length. Hitting Instruction
Strike 3 offers group and individual hitting instruction for all levels of hitters. The staff at Strike 3 works with beginner players to teach the basic swing mechanics focusing on grip, stance, bat speed, and contact. Advanced players instruction includes refining swing mechanics to achieve maximum power, recognizing improper mechanics, and identifying different kinds of pitches. Team Facility Rental
If your team needs a place to practice due to lack of field availability or due to inclement weather conditions, set up an indoor practice at the Strike 3 Pitching facility. You will have access to batting cages and open space for throwing, pitching, and ground balls. Contact Julie directly to schedule your team practice. Batting Cage Rental
Strike 3 Pitching offers access to two batting cages set up for fastpitch softball. The top-of-the-line pitching machines can accommodate hitters of all ages and skill levels, and bats and helmets are available for use. The machines are not automatic, so hitters must be accompanied by someone who can feed balls. Cages may be rented by the half-hour or hour. Sign up online for batting cage rentals.
Open Pitching Practice
Looking for a place to pitch, but all the gyms are full or the weather isn’t cooperating? The Strike 3 Pitching facility has enough space available to accommodate several pitchers at a time who wish to get in some pitching practice without a lesson. Balls, plates, and buckets are available for use. Catchers gear (adult and youth size) is also available for use by any catcher, whether parent or a teammate.
